A sad sad fact that I just found out, Garage Talk doesn't block posts from people on the ignore list.

I'm pretty sure my truck with 3.55s and 34s my ratio is equivalent to 3.08s and 32s and it is definitely a slug.

Every time I've ever priced out a gear swap I've been quoted 3k. Seems a bit ridiculous. Would be cheaper to have the rear done by itself. Then find a front diff out of a junkyard, have someone do the gears and swap that myself.

I purchased 4.10 gears and a tru-trac for my truck. I found the Ford gears were the cheapest. They also came with bearings, which the aftermarket sets didn't. That made them even a better deal.

I wish I could find a 4.10 center section out of a 7700 for mine so I would only have to do the rear.

How do I figure what my rpms would be at 65 and 75 mph in 4th gear with 33s and 4.56s?

Bad news, just looked and 7700 trucks with a 4.10 ratio only came in 2wd.
