You will just swap the Pinion & Ring Gear without replacing the seals, axle bearing, differential bearing and shim? It's recommended to replace them including the RABS sensor if 2 wheel ABS.
Why do you want to upgrade to 4.10 if you use it mainly in a highway? It will increase your fuel consumption and put more load on your engine. There is a huge difference between 3.08 and 3.31 in pulling capability.
Bigger is not always Better.

Well I went from OEM 235/70R16 to 265/75R16 with the 3.08 and it was acceptable, but now with 33" the old girl really tortures herself. I drive her 10 years this summer and it just doesn't feel good driving through hills, the whole drivetrain feels bad...
Just my 2 cent's on this.
You most definitely won't loose mpg on the hiway going to the 4.10 gears. I did exactly that same thing on my 2001 screw 4.6 2wd 20" rims 33" tires. I went from 3.55 to 4.30 but always just say 4.10 to avoid people telling me there is no such gear lol.
Anyways my point is that you will have better mpg and more power...especially since you went up in tire size. In fact engine load actually drops a few % not increases as last post said.
My range went up about 35-45 miles per tank and the truck drives like it should...no more hunting for gears on hills.
However if your gonna drive it like a **** then your mpg will go down the crapper.
Going 70mph my rpm are 2100 with 4.30 but my foot is less in the throttle to do it now than 70 mph with the 3.55
You'll be a little less than that for rpm.
Spend the extra cash and do the proper rebuild....it's worth the money for the Peace of Mind

There is a 4:30 gear, but unless they came out with one lately, they don't make a 4:30 reverse cut for the front, so if you're 4x4 you have to go with 4:10 or 4:56. But if you're 2wd you're good to go.

Naaah Master Overkit Kit will used. Never heard about the ABS sensors?!

I found 4.30 the other day. Yukon has that ratio, I also never heard that. I was always like 3.08 --> 3.55 --> 3.73 --> 4.10 --> 4.56 etc. I might still get that ratio...

The Driveshafts have a Critical Speed limit. Exceeding the limit will cause vibration, extension housing leak and bend the driveshaft.
