a while back i went to ford and they said they couldnt do an alignment because my ball joints were going bad, they said they werent horrible and i should be able to drive on them for a while, but i want to replace them myself before winter comes and i have no where to do it. has anyone done this themselves and is it something i should do myself or pay to have it done.

i know a guy that will help me and he definitely has all the right tools, but i didnt know if it was something i wanted to get into or not, know anywhere online to get a good deal on a set of all four?
