Ok guys, thanks for the help on the lowering question I had about my 99 4x4 F150. After looking into it some more, you were right and its not worth the trouble or money to lower a 4x4. Now that I got that out of the way, I wanna get the most HP I can get for about 1500 or so to start off with. Any suggestions on where to look and what you would do if you had a stock 4.6 and were looking to get some decent HP gain? Thanks.

cams, tune, headers. dollar for dollar, a set of cams will extract the most HP from the stock motor...a tune from SCT will be necessary.
