Very nice, dude. I'm not a motor head, but it looks good. What kind of money do you have into this rebuild?

I listed a breakdown of what I had in a recent post but basically a little under $800 including all machine work and all the extra parts. Quick break down of new parts.
All New
Clutch kit with pressure plate and throwout bearing
water pump
oil pump
timing cover
Starter
Cam syncro
Full gasket set
piston rings
Crank turned .010 Main .030 Rods
Heads got full valve job and new seals
Block got new camshaft bearings and Counter balancer bearings
New freeze plugs installed
New Timing Chain set with tensioner
I think that is about it but I probably missed something. Not bad for $800 (I deal shop like crazy)

Been a while with only being able to work on the truck a couple hours here and there but progress has been made. Got the engine and trans mated up with all new clutch assembly and slave cylinder and put back in the truck. Waiting for the water pump to show up today and maybe by days end I might get to turn it over.

Before taking it out

Rebuilt and back in

Cat delete.

Today I got the upper intake, wiring, starter and driveshaft installed. I also got the waterpump, alt, p/s, heater hoses hooked up. Almost ready to fire it up.

The t truck runs great but had no brakes so I spent the entire day today on front and back brakes. Including rear lines from the master cyl back, both rear wheel cylinders and shoes. On the front side I put new rotors, new calipers and pads and cleaned up everything real good. I just finished so I still don't have a good running video but I can tell this thing is fast.

Before every thing was disgusting

Now it's beautiful

So, how much? I know you've only got about $1500 in this truck. I've give you 2g's!

LOL I think I'll keep it a while. Yeah I probably have only $1500 in it cash wise and countless hours of frustration. As a guy raised on the west coast moving to the midwest has been an eye opener on what happens to even fairly new vehicles with all the salt put on the roads. To much rust everywhere. I will be taking on the body work (rust repair) and paint next.
