Sorry OP. I was giving JB some crapola. My Bad. Here is the other side picture. I was being a bit facetious. I apologize. I'm not as good as him with the side jokes.

Do you have 12V on BOTH sides of the inertia switch?

I see you caught yourself after chucking that ball of crapola at me. But after admitting you were on feces, then apologizing, I forgive you AK.

Lads,

Update. As it turns out the relays are good and the voltages are fine. I then went down to the Inertia Fuel Shutoff switch and pulled the connector. I measured the voltage across it (with the ignition set to run) and I found 0 volts from the fuel relay supply. I did find 12 volts in the circuit that supplies the fuel reset switch indicator... however the connector is uncoupled from the switch.

Anyhow I posted a pic of the wiring diagram and my "analysis".

Update: the brand new battery I installed went dead overnight. My thoughts are that there is an underlying electrical problem I need to solve. So I decided to go back to basics and start at square one. I charged my battery overnight then I set up my multimeter at the battery negative terminal on 10 amp scale. With no key everything off it reads .17 amps then jumps to 6 amps for 30 seconds then back down to .17 for 30 seconds then back up to 6 amps for 30 and continues ...

Does anyone have a clue what this could be?

Thanks for reading.

When it is doing this are there any noise (clicks or whines) in the dash area or near the fuel tank? It sounds like a relay is having a hard time deciding where to stop or your ignition switch itself may be malfuntioning.

Disclaimer: I have some experience but nowhere near what some of these other guys have.
