Ok, my buddy has an 03 f150 scab. 4x4 with 5.4l. Wipers were working fine forever. Then they would work only on intermitant speeds (but stopped wherever they were when shut off). Now they dont work at all. The washer also does not work. Normally would pull to inspect motor. However, why would it go from working to kinda working to nothing. Probably not a fuse or electrical being that it slowly died. If the motor was dead why would it effect the washer fluid? Could this indicate a bad switch assembly? Any known issues or pinch points? Am I wrong in thinking the only connection between these functions is the switch? Does the fluid washer get power thru the motor assembly? Anyone know how to change the switch assembly on the colom?
