Hey everyone, Curious about any ones experience with the ecoboost engine in our crappy winters. How are they performing?

No issues here...on either truck in the winter

Anyone here know of a good gear shop? I'd like to do LSD and 4.56's front and rear in the '08.

Howdy, new guy here - living in South East metro but born and raised on The Range - Virginia.

Last truck was a 2001 Ram that smoked a transmission in January. My Father was a Ford guy and I have heard good things about the truck.

Currently interested in stake pocket only racks for Kayak and Canoe. Anyone had luck with something like that?

Thanks in advance.

Default Tint

Rosetowner,

I've used two different outfits in the area.

First vehicle was done at P&L Automotive in Edina. Did a good job the first time around. I don't recall what film was used.

Second vehicle was done at Tint Pros in New Brighton with 3M film. Again, I had good results.

Based on my experience, I'd recommend either.

Thanks for the reply Fran. Looks like P&L uses 3m now as well.

I should also mention I am up in the north east metro area. Not that I am opposed to driving to a place that does a great job.

Tint pros. Hands down. Tien is boss. He use to run Street Scenes back in the day. I've had about 10 vehicles done by him. No issues. Ever. And with that...

My F-150 is gone. Traded it in on Monday. Got myself a 2006 Mazdaspeed6. I'm a car guy, true to heart and this thing is sweet. AWD, 6spd, 274 hp. Yippy! I'll be down in the cities soon to have the tint done on this as well.

I do have some parts from my truck. I have OEM chrome housing headlights and a 2" leveling kit that I just never got around to putting in. Looks like the housings are new for $240, so I'll let these go for $75. Leveling kit for $10. PM me guys, I'd like to keep it local so I don't have to ship. Possibly deliver to the cities if we can schedule it.
