I can't help you from sunny, Africa hot summer, Florida! We don't need no stinking rust protection here! Unless you live on the beach.....
I've heard of folks on this site using bed liner spray on their frames for protection, but that won't help you for the door inners and such.

Ziebart Rustproofing
Know them - yes
Use them - yes for rust proofing
Recommend the product - yes
Use them again - yes
Used them long - only about 40 years.
Only 2 vehicles I've owned since mid 70's that have had rust issues were the 2 I didn't have Ziebarted. I got a 94 TBird that's beautiful shape and was Ziebarted, only damage was from an accident. Had a 15 year old Cutlas Supreme that was solid as a rock when I sold it after the tranny blew. You do want to have the yearly check done, It's good to have it all checked and recoated as needed (if it's needed).
The stuff they use (at least around here) is like spray on neoprene. When I bought my 07 in 09, they used something to clean everything up then sprayed it. I take it in once a year for a check up and touchup as necessary.
I personally believe in it and use it, so I put my money where my mouth is. I haven't seen in in about 5 years or so, but I knew where there was an early 60's Plymouth Wagon in Iowa, body had been Ziebarted when new and it's as solid the last time I saw it as the day it was new. They get the yearly checkup and that's it.
