Default Windshield Wipers

Hey all I am a newb to the site. I own a 2004 F150 Supercrew 5.4. My wipers are driving me nuts...they won't turn off unless I pull the fuse out. Has anyone else had this problem and does this have anything to do with the windshield leaking problem? The Ford Dealerships told me they know what it is but they of course won't tell me.

I doubt it's the PCM, as it does not control the wiper delay/shutoff.

The switch on the steering column is probably bad. I couldn't imagine the part to cost over $50, as all it does is wipers and high/low beams.

I would think it is a short in the switch.

I seriously doubt that VW put the windshield wiper control in their engine management system as well. More than likely you have the wiper module confused with the engine management box. Some vehicles use this arrangement; especially the older ones.
