Check with your insurance, and state. Florida is one of the states that has full coverage (no deductable) on windshield glass replacement. It falls under comprehensive coverage. Not all states have this; I know Texas does not, but they will pay a full repair cost if the crack can be fixed via an injected liquid glass type repair, and if the crack can be covered by a dollar bill (length of crack)..
