Thumbs up

thanks for the response guys. First off, let me start by saying i'm not against trying to protect police officers. I understand that for their protection it is best to be able to see when they pull someone over, I just think Texas DOES have a few strange laws that not alot of other people have. With that said though, after I read all the threads it looks like to me that 25% on front two windows and as dark as you want on the back two and back glass. I guess I could always just call a tint shop and ask them, but this is honestly more fun given that it takes up time at work and gives me something to do

Lol Nice. Think I could get away with that if I put my work laptop on the seat next to me and tell em I'm a disability analyst? lol

They prob give me a bigger ticket if tried but be almost worth it to see look on their face....

Hell, you should see the laws they have in Kansas. The legal limit is so light here it is a waste of time to tint your windows. If you have out of state plates on your car you can have whatever. I still have Texas plates, so I matched my rear windows. I drove my truck home, took the front plate off, drove my Mustang up to the tint shop, pulled my Kansas Plate off in front of them, and put my Texas "Truck" Plate on it. They didnt even gve a damn.

That was always my biggest fear while I was still a LEO(before I went back to school). I hated not being able to see what is inside a vehicle.
