Default Stereo Help for 06 F150 Supercrew

I have an 06 F150 supercrew with a factory single disk CD/MP3 stereo. My buddy gave be his Sub Box out of an 08-09 Lariatt, is there anyway to hook this up in my truck.

There is a way, but it will not be plug and play. Easyiest thing to do would be to buy an audiophile head unit and the sub harness (if you don't have it under your carpet).

Otherwise, you'll need to run power, ground, and pull the signal off of your rear leads for a line output converter to give you a rear low level signal to input into the sub.

If you don't have the AP unit or can't find one, I would recommend just getting your own sub/box combo and amp. It will be better sounding then the factory sub system. JMO. Good luck!

the crossover is in the radio not the amp.so you will need a sub cross over.but it is the same as a normal amp power ground turn on but has low speaker signal in .
you can use a aftermarket sub amp but it is a low ohm dvc sub

It's a 2 ohm DVC. So you could run it at 4 or 1 ohm.
