Default Stupid PCV valve question

Hey

I am changing my PCV valve, i have done this on other cars, but never a F150. To remove these is it a simple put up and out type deal?

Also, they also have a wire to it, meaning its heated so i can just unplug that.

Thanks
Mike

Same as all other instructions undo battery terminals. Unplug sensor, than unscrew it, pull out and insert new one! Simple as that :P

On the 4.6 it's on the passenger side valve cover near the front. Unhook the sensor, twist it counterclockwise then pull it out. Installation is reverse of removal.

Mine was really stuck so I had to wrap part of a towel around it as the sharpish edges on the thing were digging into my fingers and I couldn't get enough force put on it. Came right off then.

thats only on a 5.4L .... the 4.6L lists a part number and all....so i am assuming its designed to be changed.
