I fully imagine it's dependent on what type of plug you have in there. I did my F-150's second plug change a couple of months ago and it had the SP-515s in there. Following Ford's TSB on the plug change, I got them all out without any breaking or any issues.

So I imagine as long as you've got SP-515's in there, you should be fine.

If you have SP-515 in there you won't have any problems. I changed mine out and they already had SP-515. I did nothing special as they are the updated version. Treated it as any other normal plug change. All 8 came out fine.

Just curious if you are going to use the impact wrench like so many have done and they come right out? That's what I will be trying next weekend. I have ran 2 bottles of Seafoam through two tanks of gas and purchased Aerokroil and will warm the engine up to operating temp, let it cool down about half way, lube with Aerokroil on the cool down and hit it with a impact wrench (putting in the 515's). Also bought some Motocraft Nickel Anti-Seize which I hear is recommended.

I'm gonna try to break em loose with the socket first, if that goes well or if I've got the 515s in there I'll use an impact. I'd hate to break one today though. Damn Amazon sent me a windshield wiper instead of the remover tool lol

Yeah, just order the wiper and you'll probably get the tool. Ebays not much better. Everything I order looks like it got dropped and kicked around every warehouse on the east coast
