Default This sound right ?

I took my truck in yesterday for the 15K mile service.
while they had it I asked them to check the vibration I was getting at 65 MPH. and a Clicking in the driver's seatbelt adjuster.

They did the service and told me my brakes looked almost new.
The seat belt adjuster was missing a part and they have to special order the whole unit and replace it under warranty.

They told me the vibrations was from the "front tires feathered badly and rotated to the rear and that the tires should be rotated every 5000 miles.
and they say the cause is the lack of tire rotating."

My truck is an 08 with 13088. miles on it and this is the second time I had the tires rotated. on 3-11-09 and at 3528 miles I had them do a service that included tire rotation. but when I talked to the woman she told me this was the first time they have been rotated, I told her this is the second and if she gave me a second I could tell her right when the first time was done, she then Oh I see it here.

Just What is meant by tire feathered?
should I have to rotate my tires every 5 thousand miles?

my 08 had the same problem. i have 13000 on mine i rotate my tires every 4000 miles also. I bought a lifetime balance and rotate so this helps wiht the cost. Also check your front end alignment. This could be why the tire is feathering. Mine was out on the left and it solved the vibration issue i had. Ford told me no tire issues would be fixed after 12000 miles. Those *****holes

I did have it checked about a month ago. It was something like 1/2 of 1 degree. and I had the tires balanced
