Default Some good news finally

Well for those that don't know, my truck was wrecked 2.5 months ago and then about a month after it was wrecked the wheels and tires were stolen while the truck sat at the repair shop. The silver lining in that was I got to go new wheel and tire shopping on the repair shops dime. I picked out a new set of KMC Monsters and 35x12.50 Pro Comp MT's. After 3 weeks of waiting for them to come in here's a couple of shots of them on the truck finally.

Still don't have the truck back yet, but the shop has assured me I'll have it back next Thursday.

Damn nice! Is there any reason why you didn't upgrade to 20's?

I like a tire with more sidewall.

Morning wxmcpo,

get the frig out! I don't remember a post about you saying that someone stole the wheels off your truck while it was in the shop!

But at least they are going to come good for it and it looks like you have a dandy set of tires now! Those would have Tim The Tool Man Allen grunting all day long.

Yeah Mitch when I read the post about them stealing the wheels I said the same thing you did. IIRC he said that he was watching the news about a local shop getting broke into and come to find out a few minutes later he got a call or he called them and they told him that it was his stuff that got stolen.

Friggin crazy.

Here's a link to the threadabout stolen wheels and tires.

The good thing though is even though the shop's insurance denied the claim saying their client took all reasonable steps to protect my vehicle therefore were not responsible for the theft, they still came through and recognized they owed me a set of wheels and tires. The pictires really don't do justice in exactly how awesome these new ones look on the truck. Can't wait to get her back, do a full body detail and post up some new pics.

Dude those look hot, heck I like 18s better, take less power to move and you can stop in shorter distances. And for some reason the tires are cheaper, well at least around where I live they are.
