rear sagging
i installed a 6in lift on my 08 f150 and everything was fine now my rear seems to be sagging after about 300 miles on the lift. i have heard of the leaf's settling so im thinking of just installing an add a leaf kit i was just wondering if anyone has encountered the same problem. i was thinking my spings are damaged or something from taking it in the woods or something but the trucks only a year and 4months old

It is normal for the springs to settle a little bit. If you have some major sagging then you could have a problem. Do you pull or haul much? that could cause some wear on your springs. Another thing is that most lift kits make the truck level or they could even make the front slightly higher than the back. Hope this helps.

i put 2 pallets of tile in the bed of my truck with a 6inch lift and it sags a tad bit now. it isnt noticable enough to justify getting new springs put in. my conclusion was that it was the springs, but like stated before by someone, the front naturally rides a lil higher anyways. good luck

hahahah yeah.. but i had a bed full of wet snow it sat like that for about 2days before i cleaned it out im sure that weighed a good bit now its like the spings are stuck like that.. how much do you usually get out of a add a leaf kit about 1.5?
