Along with getting new door stops, I also wrapped a little electrical tape around the door latch to keep that from rattling.

I haven't tried this, but it is supposed to work really well to stop door rattles and reduce wind noise:

I also did the fix in YouTube video above and work awesome just like the guys says shuts like a Mercedes.

I Believe that I am subscribed. But that doesnt answer my question about the tubing size....

It looks like a 3/8 OD but that would appear to be a pretty tight fit.
