Well homie. I do keep a dash cam running. And it does record audio. I'm just in the office so I haven't had a chance to pull the file and dissect the audio stream from it yet.

So...

a) The Dash cam internal speakers are mono and not great.
b) I had the air on this morning.
c) I had to do a lot of editing to block out the ambient air noise and accentuate the beep, it's louder sounding in the truck.
d) I think there's a certain number of minutes that it goes off in, but again, no codes, no warnings, no nothing.

I figured out what it actually sounds like. It sounds like when you hit any of the buttons in on the dash for the control center (Info, Setup or Reset), when switching between modes. That beep.

I, however, have not found what is causing it and it seems to be timed to go off once after a certain amount of the truck running, which is odd.

For those who don't know what that sounds like, see this attachment because I hit it a couple times on the way home today.

When you start the truck does the airbag light come on? If not the bulb might be burnt out? If the bulb works does the light blink? I've read the airbag light will blink a code if there is a problem with the airbag system.

Nope, it's working fine. Also it's not really doing anything except that single quiet blip (quieter than the ones the control panel uses, it was just good for illustrative purposes to place the blip since it doesn't sound like the warning chimes for stuff).

For anyone following along, I figured out what it was last night.

Something's happening with my rear facing dash cam where it will stop recording but continue to be powered on. That sound is a mangled and shortened version of the "shutdown" sound that the camera plays when I turn the truck off.

So either the power supply is spiking/overheating and then puts out just enough juice to charge but not run, or there's something up in the camera itself.

EDIT: Bad MicroSDHC card. The sound was caused by an I/O Write error (basically the card was full and the camera couldn't get it to delete an older file so it could continue writing). Figured it out because my files recycle at the 3 minute mark, so exactly 3 minutes into starting the truck, beep.

Replaced the card, all is well with the world again.
