I'm in the process of changing my spark plugs and I got all of them out besides #8 of course the most annoying one to get to. I have the lisle tool and I can't get it out with that for some reason I need help. any suggestions?

What specifically is keeping you from using the Lisle tool? I'm guessing you can't get the tool started. In that case, sometimes you have to break the porcelain out so that you can get the tool started. Being the #8 plug, that can be a bit of a challenge.

Default Plug

No.8 is the worst, is it the long plug if so you my have to modify your tool to go deaper i had to do that on one , i thought i would never get it out, make sure the tool is bottoming into plug base install the tool and run the motor until it is hot and try to remove again. Dont forget to seat the tool as deap as it will go i had to cut bevel higher on tool to go deeper on one truck they all broke. Try to always do 2 top engine cleans on the combustion chamber before you remove them this removes the carbon on plug base. I have found along with fellow shop owners removing them hot improves your chances of them not breaking.

Also make sure your Lisle tool puller part still has threads on it and they are clean. They need to be clean and intact in order to correctly re-thread into that piece thats stuck down in there.
