Thanks. FYI I found a way to fix the rear window electric slider with out removing the rear window assembly. I found a way to remove the center glass tat should work on 2006 and up F150. Mine is a 2009 and the part I used was a 2006 F150 piece. Direct match. So thanks I will move back to my own year group. See ya.

I have the same problem. Can you please share the link where you provided you solution or please share what you did that works here (or PM me)? I have the same problem/frustration as you did and would like to avoid going to the dealer where they quote over $1000 for the replacement of the center window guide (remove the headliner etc.....). Any help will be much appreciated!!

Thumbs up 2009 to 2014 F150 Rear Center Window Repair

I have posted that I have fixed the rear center window regulator and I have found the way to remove and repair the center rear window. You can call me at 702-614-3877 and leave a msg if I don't answer or you can send me a PM or email djbiever1@yahoo.com . Its a easy fix. The wife might not find that to be easy cause you are not paying attention to her cause you are paying attention to your precious truck. I hope to help you.

Default Same problem

Were you able to fix it? I have the same problem; the tab that the cable attaches to is broken. Were you able to buy just the bottom frame for the sliding glass, and then install it into the large window frame? Help me, please! moparmo@gmail.com
Thanks

Default Fixed!

Thanks to Dave who answered the distress call! The step-by-step solution he provided worked perfectly; too many steps to mention, so the phone contact was a big help. The lower track p/n for this window is 4L3Z-15422B68-AA. I ordered it through FDmotorparts.com. The prep was more difficult than the repair, as it took a while to get the rear seat out, headliner down, etc. but the money saved was worth it!

Default Center window repair

The repair I made was just for the center sliding power window (the one in the rear of the cab, over the truck bed). This did NOT involve repairing or replacing the cable; only the sliding window track that fits within the main window frame. The cable was not damaged, but BE CAREFUL not to move it during the repair. My truck is an 2006 F-150 Super cab.
As I mentioned in my previous posting, the solution is best explained over the phone. Feel free to call me if your problem matches what I described above. 714-292-6343

Hey Guys. I also had this issue, and bought the same black plastic track piece from the dealer. I actually had safelite do the repairs for me. They only charged me labor, which came out to $125. They had to pull the entire back glass, so way more then I wanted to get into myself. It has been working great, and it was well worth the money to get it done right the first time! Let me know if you have any questions.
