Default dual batteries

I put a lot of demands in my electrical system and I am just curious if anyone is running two batteries in their f-1 like the heavy duty trucks?

I've run them in some older trucks. But I also was using a 1-wire alternator to charge them. With the newer trucks I believe that they have a couple options for high output alternators. Depending on what size load you're using would determine the size of the alternator. Where are you planning on putting it? We made a split box for a buddy's snow plow truck a few years back so he could run twins, but it was purely function over asthetics.

I was looking into it earlier when I got my slide in RV camper. I couldn't find anyone that made a tray to fit two batteries in the engine compartment. And it's pretty tight in there. I don't think you could fit two full size batteries.

So now I just keep my RV's battery in the bed of the truck.
