Ok the pictures are up. The first two are of the sides of the DVD player hook ups one for the radio and one for the DVD itself. The next two are for the sub. The truck did not come with audiophile so I put in audiophile speakers, a new 6 disc with audiophile head unit, the DVD, and the subwoofer. I also bought the connector for the end that hooks up to the sub from ford. The DVD already had a couple feet of wire and the connector. I bought the metra reverse wiring harness part no. 71-5520-1 for the hook ups on the back of the radio. I think I have all the parts that I need, but now I just need to know which wires connect and which ones don't. But I also need to know which ones go to the central junction box. Most of these wires are not colored and the only one that is really colored is the one on the DVD player.

Thanks.

You're gonna need factory wiring diagrams.

Why didn't you just go aftermarket? They come with diagrams...

Was going to email you to ask if you had figured it out... Thought you had all the correct OEM wires? Complete wiring... If those wires didn't come with instructions or what each color represents then you are only minutes away from burning up HU and powered amp.. You need the diagram to show you exactly what each wire is..

This is the OEM sub wire.. If what you have isn't matching up and you have 9 wires and not 5 you're in trouble??

I will try and find the wiring somewhere I think I might be getting close. But I am still completely lost on the DVD player wires.

Save the headache hire a professional installer, that way when it doesn't work you can be mad at them.

Personally, I've done enough wiring and had enough headache I'd rather take it and let someone else do the work and I get the enjoyment.
I did the whole "work on it myself" thing with my jeep. More work then getting to play. The truck is worked on by companies and I get all the play.

Yes but he's splicing wires for a OEM system with no instructions, diagram, or color code.. Twisting wires together then hitting the power button is asking for trouble...

I'd rather blame it on someone else

Exactly. I've done factory systems. But only with the factory diagrams.
