i can either get a 17x8 with 5.5" backspacing or an 18x9 with 6" backspacing
would like to have the ability to put on bigger tires in the future right now im running 265/70/17's need somethin to fill up that wheelwell better though truck has 1.5" autospring level kit on it will try to post pics of the truck tomorrow

Tires will be less expensive with the 17s than 18s. With those specs on the 17s u could run bigger tires. They are almost identical to stock specs. Don't stick out much at all. Here's mine with 17x8s and 33s. (285/70/17). Should have gone with 295/70/17 to fill the wheelwells up just a little more.

i'm kinda leaning towards the 17's just because of the backspacing and the fact that i can run the tires i have now til i get new ones. however i also did notice that there is definatly more sizes available with the 18's according to the tire and wheel fitment guide on the forum 6" backspacing on an 18 would be too much if i ever wanted to run 35's
