Your point? I said it because I believe it (a Civic battery destroying your F150 battery) to be stupid. You keep posting, so you are the one wanting to argue. I will go back to jumping batteries correctly and not having any problems. Have a nice argumentative free evening.

Ok so I'll go have the battery tested tomorrow and replace if needed. Hopefully that'll take care of it. I knew a bad battery would cause some electrical components to act a little funky but I've never had a vehicle act this strange before. I just hope I don't have a poltergeist.

Many folks will connect cables to the positive post of donor vehicle to positive post of vehicle that needs the jump (good of course), and the negative post of donor vehicle to negative post of vehicle that needs the jump (bad). The cable that connects to the negative post of donor vehicle should then be connected to a good body ground of the vehicle that needs the jump. Don't use the negative battery post of the vehicle that needs the jump; don't use the alternator's body; locate a bracket that connects to ground at the vehicle that needs the jump.
