I'm not saying that the OP is responsible. In fact I think that if a dealership is doing a spark plug change, and the spark plugs break, then the dealership shouldn't charge the customer more. The spark plug breaking is a design flaw of a 2 piece spark plug. But buying a new engine will be better than spending 2k for head removal.

Write them a check then tell your bank to do a stop payment due to bad service, then hand it to your lawyer, ive had a similar incident with mopar

I in no way think he is responsible, I actually thought it was understood that it's the shops. What I was addressing was this comment by the OP:

"So now I need to figure out what to do. I feel like spending that much money on an engine with 100k miles on it is kind of a waste."

Why not buy some used heads if you're gonna spend a bunch of money? Put in one piece plugs and you'll won't have to worry about the old plugs. Then take your old heads with you, fix em and sell em.
That is if you can't get the shop to pay

Sorry Bucko, Uhh... I dono what I was doing. You can delete this one.. I was just kinda freaking out. One post was to try to get them to not charge me so much money, and once I found out that wasn't gonna work, I wanted advice on what to do next, so I started a new thread.
