Default My HID kit sucks

I bought a cheap hid kit and I'm pleased with it, for what I paid, except for the the low beam. The low beam is a halogen and my high beam is a HID. The problem is my low beam halogen is not anywhere near as bright as the stock low beam. Are other kits made this way? Do other kits have a direct plug for the bulb housing, I had to slide individual wires from the HID's into my original housing plug. I want a nice kit that both the low and high beams are HID's so I was hoping to get some feedback from others who have nice kits.

BTW--Tophidkits.com is a waste of money and time.

Very weird! My HID kit has the HID's as the low beam, and the high beams are "standard" filiment. I never need the high beam with the light thats shed from the HID low's.

Knowing that the bulb goes in one way to the Ford lens assembly, I'd almost swear the bulb was upside down, but I realize this is not possible!

Can you contact the manufacturer and trade the bulbs for the opposite (HID low beam, "normal" high beam)?

Default I used to have the same as you and i had a huge problem

i bought a kit on the net same as you, high beams halogen and low beams hids, the kit flickered and the high beams never worked. I bought a second hid kit at www.xenonhidconversionkit.com and the kit works perfectly. I bought a bi-xenon hid kit with canbus ballast 55w and its been 10 months and it still works flawlessly.

I bought a kit from jon_to in the vendor section on here. High and lows HID. Work perfectly and were $105 shipped. I have been very happy with the kit.

What??? You're not making any sense. That's like saying, "I bought a Ford truck and I'm pleased with it, except that it's a Chevy."

Why respond to a thread that's two years old??? Terrible analogy btw. It might make sense to you if you had someone read it to you.

I responded because it was an active topic. I didn't bump a two-year old thread. Ask the guy who did...

An HID kit by definition has HID lights! Not LEDs, not sodium lights, not plasma generators or anything else. So how did your HID kit contain halogens?

Try to go to hidcountry.com ask for mike tell him Jerry sent you. I have HIDs in my 07 and they work perfectly for over a year.

The low beam was HID and the high beam was halogen or vice versa depending on how you wired it. It's two separate bulbs using the same housing
