New to me January 2014<br/>Had phases done last summer. <br/>Have a new tick now.




Top rear stud on both manifolds are busted.<br/>and...




Torn boot... grease everywhere. <br/><br/>Thinking about going with shorty headers. <br/>And looking for good replacement boots. Anybody have any thoughts?

most of the time it's not worth rebooting that cv axle.. brand new is 60 bucks.

shorties are okay if you dont want to do tubing for long tubees.. long tubes are alot better tho

A friend of mine said he had a stud come loose on him and he just had to tighten it up... I believe this was on a replaced manifold. Would it be possible to extract these studs and put in a new one without removing the whole manifold or is it probably too far warped to sit against the block as it should? From what I can see, neither manifold is cracked.
