Lost Overdrive in trans this weekend

my 04 is going in the shop tom. Anytime i am crusing at 50 mph and give it just alittle gas, the engine jolts and shudders violently. Almost like it cant kick out of OD to down shift or something. Luckily i have a full bumper to bumper warranty.

Please post when you find out what it is. My 04 started doing the EXACT same thing a few days ago. Unfortunately, mine is not covered under warranty.

Help please I have a 07 f150 xlt and I was driving and it sounded like it went into neutral and then it started doing it after I couldn't go passed 30-35 mph and if I turn overdrive off it would be fine is it just the ring yall think?
