Looking for a brake pad replacement video
I've seen a few youtube videos out there on front brake pad replacement, but I'd like to find one specific to our Ford '04-'08 F150's. Anyone have a link to a video for front pad replacement? Mine is a 2007 F150.
Thanks in advance!

Use the search. I believe someone posted great "picture by picture" of how to replace the brakes and rotors. Can't remember who it was. I saw it about 2 months ago. I'm pretty sure it was a nice "red" truck. It's not video, but it sure gets to the point.

workin for parts!!!
If you haven't already, pick up a Chilton/Haynes manual..It looks like you're gung-ho in learning maintenace on your truck...nothing better than doing a job yourself and keeping that cash in your own pocket.

Great advice techrep/05 super/solpushcart, and good job Duane for searching and wanting to obtain a repair book. Rare these days. Hats off to you.
There are tons of links on this forum for the DIY'er, unfortunately we usually get bashed if we suggest the search tool. Most do not want to look for information, but would rather have it re-written to them in their post.
While these forums are great for gathering information on "how to do", it still requires the "do it yourself-er" to have tools and know how to complete the task. Repair manuals and proper tools are the first two items any person that wants to perform their own repair needs to have.
Replacing disk brake pads is not a difficult task, and does not require any specialty tools to do the job. As mentioned, a Hayes or Chiltons repair book for your year truck will help you do this job, and will pay for itself in labor costs on this first repair. Expect to pay around $25.00 for the book.
Post back on how you did, along with a pic of your truck. Glad to have you aboard!

X2 on the manual.......It will also mention what tools you will need. We even used to have them when I worked at an independent garage for general information purposes. Torque specs and any cleaner or lubricant you might need. I did google a you tube video on replacing f150 brakes, and watched it. He did not do a good job as far as I was concerned.
Good luck and happy wrenching!

Speaking of Chilton/Haynes, do any of you know if there's one out there for the 07 yet? It wasn't out a few months ago, but the guy told me it should be soon.
