Mine did this when one of my high beam filaments went out. The bulbs for your headlights do they have high and low beam? The truck requires a certain resistance on the headlights you might need capacitors or a relay harness to fix the issue. Hope this helps

F150 doing the same thing. Did you ever come up with a solution?

It was mentioned earlier that the fog lights automatically turn off when the high beams are engaged, which is completely normal. However, if you do want them to stay on when your high beams are engaged, do a search for "Bambi mod"....it takes literally 20 minutes, I did it in my truck that has all LED lights (except front turn signals). My fog lights now stay on along with high beams.

the issue is that my fog lights only work when high beam is on. I have to shut the fog light switch off in order to have my low beams work

Mine was also this way. If I turned the fogs on, the high beams automatically came on (this was after I replaced my low and high beams with LED lights). The Bambi mod corrects this issue as well as allowing the fogs to stay on with high beams.

I am having the same problem on my 2006 F150 Lariat, when I select the fog lights my high beams come on. If all lights are turned on there is a dim high beam indicator light on but the fog lights do not come on. If I select the parking light position on the switch the fog lights will then work until I switch to headlight position. I have tried everything I can think of with no luck.

I'm using Sealight H13 bulbs. Plug and play, just like installing a normal bulb. They are crisp and clear, fighter than OEM halogen but not obnoxiously bright like some you see.

I just did the bambi mod on my 06 F150, fixed my problem with fog lights causing bright lights to come on. All works as advertised, dogs do stay on with bright lights now.
