Default Key Pad

has anyone had the key pad off of their drivers door? I'm trying to find out how to get it apart so that I can change the light color from green to blue to match the rest of the interior lights in my truck.
Thanks

I have not but you might want to look at getting a service manual for the truck that might have some instructions.

I have had my panel off on my truck, but don't think the procedures are the same since yours is an older model. Have you tried a Google search? I love Google, it seems to have everything.

Ahhhhh I thought you were talking about the monster truck, forgot that you have a newer model as well. In that case here's some instructions for taking the door panel off to replace a mirror, but it'll get you to the point you need. Good luck and I hope these help.

Default key pad

I got the factory key pad out, PAIN IN THE @55,door panel is fine... removing the pad from the door is a . Opened it up to change the LED's to blue, but the way it's put together leaves no room to move the circut panel without breaking it, and the LED's shine through the panel so they are special ones, different than the ones used in the door switches...........so stuck with GREEN till I get another key pad that I can sacrafice, HA HA HA
