For stock location I don't know since I got a solid but that's the glory of putting one in your self. You could get a nicer Looking switch and put it snywhere

My 2007 Lariat has a power rear slider.

The stock switch is between the overhead interior map lights.

I have not had a chance to use the window yet, as I bought the truck in November and it's been a cold winter here in the great white north

picked up the power slider yesterday while getting my oil changed. all parts included. looks brand new, only issue is where the "close cable end" attaches to the sliding window- the bottom plastic cable notch is cracked and the cable pops off the window. so with a lil engineering we came up with using thin wire with some epoxy, (jb weld, plastic weld, etc.) to bond the cable end nub to the sliding window. basically setting the cable end in the notch, wrap thin wire around the notch holding the cable in place, then covering with epoxy. it wont be visible. if anyone follows me about this im impressed... ha!

It's all with the window. The wires, motor, button etc. It gets power from behind the dash I assume... I havn't looked at the manual yet

well unless you have gotten a rear wi-fi window you will need to connect it to power somehow and to the button up front.

im asking if there is existing connections in a truck with a solid back window, or if wiring needs to be run.
