No, I love it! When I said that it's dirty I meant it's sick!
I would love to put a cb there, but I have cupholders. But I probably won't ever get a cb, I have no need.
I don't think the wood grain looks bad. I have the black one and would be willing to trade if it was that bad. (I don't mind which one I have.) The only problem is, our buttons are all different, so you'd have to take all of them out. You could always get another one online somewhere.

I found the bezel on line for 42.00 new. I still want to go to the Local junk yard and look.

Got the new radio- no bezel change
I got the new Cobra today (UPS) IT's called a Cobra 29 CHR (Chrome)
but the face is black with chrome trim. It looks so much better. Also the lights are blue.
Now I have the used one for sale on craigs list. Cobra 29 LTD Classic.
It worked great no problems. Just didn't fit the dash look.
You can see between the two. they both worked the same. It's al about the looks!!!!!

Where do you live? come over I will help you make one.
PM me your phone# and I will talk you through it. it was pretty easy.
Do you have tin snipps (sheet metal cutters), A hand held jig saw with a metal cutting blade. a drill, a pencil. I just used the ash tray for the temp. and traced it over the computer side cover. I used the computer side cover because it was a stronger metal for supporting the weight of the cb.

if you notice on this bracket. I cut the opening so I could fold the flaps and use them for the mounting brackets.

you may see the 4 holes two on each side.
those are there because of the side screws for the cb body to mount to the cb face or front cover. those screws were in the way. the very end of the arms I folded in .... have the holes for the mount. (or half holes ) the arms barely reached. but did fit. I used a body washer that ha d a good surface to grab.
