Incab squeak driving me crazy
I have a 2005 crewcab and i am wondering if you can lay the backrest on the back seat down? The reason is i have a squeaking noise coming from back their going down the road. Im thinking it could be the back glass or somthing has fallen back their.Has anyone else had this sort of problem?

Hey t-ro, welcome to the site if I failed to greet you before. This will sound like a wise guy answer, bear with me. Make a meg-a-phone, I think. The thing the cheer leaders use to propell their voices with out the aid of amps. With that funnel to your ear and someone else driving the truck, just start listening. NVH, thats what Ford used to call it in my day, noise, vehicle, harshness. Anything goes when trying to isolate these problems. You will be ammuseing to on lookers, but go ahead, MAKE THEIR DAY!

Sorry, don't post here much but I have another suggestion. See if applying some sort of grease on the OUTSIDE of the truck, bottom of window where the black vinyl/plastic meets the body helps at all. I have a very annoying squeak from there that I remedy with some silicon lube.

Nice going dub, sounds like a good suggestion. Just in case the original guy doesn't catch it, send him a private message (PM). Highlight his name, scroll down to private message and go for it. Welcome to the forum, we appreciate any helping info here.
