I'll be putting the lights on the truck tomorrow. Anxious to see how it's going to turn out. Will have the write up done by tomorrow night probably, but if not definitely Monday when I get back to work. Thanks for all the kind words.

Got all the wiring done on the truck and everything is working correctly. Now I'm waiting for it to get dark. I'll probably make a YouTube video with my phone because I'm thinking it will show greater detail than pictures. I'll repost the finished project tonight. Can't wait to see what it all looks like.

Well, it's finally dark outside, lol. The lights came out great. I used some Permatex clear silicone adhesive to help keep the lights to stick. I don't know how long they are going to last without falling down, but overall I'm very happy with the way it turned out. At the beginning, I pre-wired them all with female connectors, and I thought i tested them all before putting them on the truck, but something went wrong anyways. I stuck them all to there correct places, then got under the truck and ran the wiring, and connected everything. When I tapped into the wire and went to turn them on for the first time (Saturday) only the drivers side strip was coming on. It pissed me off, and I'd spent most of the day frustrated and thinking good God, there could be a million things wrong. So I just decided to calm down and wait for today (Sunday) and went under the truck and started cutting wires and running power to each strip until I found the problem. I guess 2 of the soldered joints weren't working correctly (the back wheel wells, both of them) , so I had to bypass them and splice wires in behind the circuit of each of the strip. That's why you can see the red wires in the back wheel wells. I've got to get back in there and rerun those wires when I get some more time, but I was able to get them all working correctly, but those red wires in the wheel well are definitely an eye sore. I also put electrical tape on each end of the strips to hopefully help keep them in place. That silicone adhesive is pretty sticky stuff, so hopefully they will stay.

If I had to do it all over again, I definitely would have tested each strip and ran power to each and every single one before I stuck them to the vehicle. I also would have taken more time to make sure the wires were ran correctly. But, what I have now is fixable, and doesn't look all that bad anyways. As far as the light output, I couldn't imagine it being brighter. The video really doesn't do it justice, and the 2 LED tag lights from China still haven't arrived, and they definitely need to be changed. Also, the head light bulbs are getting changed now too. Those yellow halogen bulbs really look like crap with the LEDs.

Anyways, here are the long anticipated videos of the finished project. Let me know what you all think. The videos really don't do the light output justice. They definitely look A LOT brighter in person, then on video.

Looks really good at night, but I wouldnt have run those wires on the control arm like you did. They pivot up and down. Plus the tape will not hold up to that south Florida heat.
