Default How to install clock spring

I have a 06 f150 and need to replace the clock spring. Is there a how to for this? I searched but couldn't find anything.

if you go to autozone .com you can look up stuff most trucks and autos are there

straighten wheels,Disconnect battery. Remove airbag, remove steering wheel, install clock spring.

How do you know when it's bad. If airbags were deployed due to accident does this have to be replaced?

Usually the airbag system self-diagnoses... a bad clockspring should through your dash light and yes, it needs to be replaced after a deployment.
