Question How do I open the overhead map lights to change the bulbs?

Hey everyone, hope you're doing well. I need to change my map light bulbs, but have no idea how to get the housing off. I have a supercrew and also need to get the rear one off too.

Thanks in advance,
Anthony

All you do is carefully get your fingertips between the headliner and top edge of the overhead console and pull down gently. It will pop loose. Dont force it too hard or you may break the clips. Start at the edge closest to the end (either front or back, not the middle). Take your time and all will be good.

Burnsy is right. there are no screws, only clips. Very stubborn clips. I used a panel removal tool to figure out where they were and tried to pry closer to them, I thought I would break it for sure. Pull until you think it's going to break, then pull a little more... Then it comes off.

The rear is the same way, and once you get it off it's just a circuit board and twist lock bulbs.

Good luck man!
