Okay so what tuner and who cans the tune on it? I'm desperate this truck is going to get me killed on the highway. A 5.3 Chevy 4x4 would straight out run this truck 0-60 or in a roll. Okay I'm a big mustang guy so in the past on my cars sct3 and bama tune loaded on it.

Either go Edge or SCT. I like the custom ability of the Edge and being able to change the settings on each level outside of the canned tunes. If I had the cash, I would have a SCT livewire with 5 star tunes on it. I paid $125 for my Edge with pod, used, worth every penny.

The Edge Evolution comes with 3 preloaded tunes, 1 is transmission only, 2 is towing and 3 is performance, You can make changes to each level, 1,2 or 3 for a "custom" setting.

Do you have to run premium when using the performance tune?

You have to run it for the way the truck is retuned. At least gas prices are down now. About two years ago, when premium prices were $4.16 a gallon, i set my tuner to performance mode, and then accidentally shut it in my door, crushing it. It was fun having my truck run that good, but not so great on the wallet.
I got a hold of Bully Dog, and they sent me a brand new one, no questions asked.
