Hi.

Quick/easy 'ghetto' solution :

- trigger a standard 30A ISO relay coil from a hot-in-run fuse location in the SJB (using an Add-a-fuse)

- Supply fused power to one side of the N/O contact direct from the battery ( rating depends on load)

- other side goes to a couple of rectifiers of appropriate PIV and current capacity ( depends on the LEDs you choose).

- Anodes tied together; cathodes - one each to the foglite connectors ( prevents backfeeding).

-whenever truck is running, fogs will energize

Caveat - fogs on ALL the time; if you want the fogs to go OFF when the heads are energized, you will need another relay to interrupt power to the first whenever the heads are on ( use N.C contacts in the trigger path of the first relay). This will also allow normal fog on/off function to be preserved.

Note - this is just one quickie idea - many ways to skin this cat. SJB is 'different', so be careful getting too invasive - look at a good schematic. There may be a way to get fancy and eliminate one relay.. consider this to be yer homework

BTW - those are the exact bulbs I'm using. They are great. I am going to mod them to provide a small reflective 'hat' to redirect the forward facing LEDs' light back at the reflector - as it is the 'glare' a bit to much for my taste.

good luck

Pin 85 on the relay is ground so wire to a ground however you like.
Pin 86 is the trigger wire it goes to the ignition switch @ pin 1 its a dark blue with light green stripe. You can also find this wire in all the wires that go up the steering column.
Awesome of you to go through all that just to help someone out. I've got a quick question though.
Could you do this for the park lights too? I recently did a retrofit and I wired up the halos to the park lamps so when I go to car meet I can just flick on my park lights and have my halos on.

I'd like to just have the halos/turn signals on during the day but when I turn on my park lamps it dims my radio and turns my dash lights on. Got any ideas on how I can wire it up so the park lamps come on during the day without having to switch to the park lamps on my headlight switch?

I have a 2006 FX4 Canadian (came with DRLs).

Thanks mate!
