If it was a clone it would've been done in a couple minutes.
If they plugged a programmer into your ODBII after making the key and putting it in your ignition, you have an original (usually, especially because of the half hour bit, it takes about ten-fifteen minutes to program a new one)

But a clone key is quick and easy. A programmed key requires time.

For $80 you should have a new original, not a cloned key.

Can't beat the cookies and coffee. Something to consider now is to buy a 3rd key off of Amazon or ebay - you can get them for $20. A lot of Home Depot's will cut the key for free - and then you can program it yourself and still have 2 originals should you ever lose one.

Just talked to the Ford dealer that made my key and they have never heard of a cloned key. He told me if I have two keys that work I can program a third. I think we need an answer from one of the Ford professionals on here.
