What is the best thing for putting the emblems back on? If it's tape what size thanks

3m makes a double sided moulding tape. The stuff is crazy strong and holds up really well. Any auto parts store should carry it. Autozone, Advance Auto, etc.

Ya that stuff is unreal strong. My house alarm window sensor kept falling off due to the weather changing constantly so I stuck it on with some extra tape I had lying around and it won't budge until u get heat gun and fishing line

Sweet I'm about to pull all 3 F150 emblems off and the tailgate oval so one of the painters at work can paint them black Chrome and I will put them back on this tape is it the 1/4" thick tape?

I believe so yes. I had a roll off eBay and I'm sure it was 1/4" thick. The stuff I had wasn't very wide so I had to do a few rows of it

Yep. It's only 1/4 of an inch wide. I got 2 strips of it on my front replacement emblem and its not moving.
