I have 08 screw 8" lift 37" tires and 3.73ls EDGE EVO CS

I have seen a decent mpg increase when on the highway, around town not really noticeable. If you are lifted the tuner is worth it do to the gauges and the tranny settings/shift points. I like the tunner and would buy it again, I also beleive the mpg savings is due to driver awareness

I have an 05 and EDGE EVO is a really great tool to have no matter the reason you bought it. I orignally bought it for towing but I have been using it for tranny points like a lot of you have said. Its really helpful for diagnostics also I must note. A lot faster than running to Auto Zone!

Plus the background settings look sick. Haha

Those are never accurate for what they say your getting.

+1 on the mileage calcs. My Edge, the onboard computer, and gas station math never match. They're all measuring over different miles. I think the comp is over the last 50 miles and I have no idea what the Edge is doing as it's always the highest. In recent trip to San Diego, the Edge showed 21, the comp was 18, and math said 17.

so i just found this thread because after filling up from 250 hwy miles driving conservatively between 60-70mph I calculated 12.2 mpg... my truck is leveled with 295/70/18 nitto trail graps. I would like a tuner strictly for gas mileage increase. Is it worth it or should i sell my truck? i drive all highway miles for work.

also thinking about getting smaller all terrains but dont know how much that will really help

A tuner won't make up the difference you're wanting. Maybe 13mpg? Mine is completely stock and I get about 15 with the Edge evo on setting 2. Tires have to be killing you're mileage. I've got about a 60mile round trip to work and I'm thinking about just getting a to/from beater.

I have really never considered selling my truck because of gas mileage, prior to my Edge, I got around 11mpgs in the city and about 13 on the highway. When I got my Edge, I went to about 13 in the city and 15 on the highway, now with the custom 87 tune that I installed last month, seems like around 14-15 in the city and 16-17 on the highway. Still gotta run through a couple tanks of gas to really test the MPGs and the way I drive though.
