i think is a good device to monitor the engine and to adjust some values to make it run better.... but i dont think that mpg savings will pay for it. after a year or so, im about the same mpg running in level 2.

Tried IMPG but it drove me crazy, lol, had to go back to AMPG.

Watched a TV program about the gator hunters in your part of the country. Really liked the "camps", cabins on pontoons, looked like great way to fish.

It gets you away from everything. Just remember we don't all talk like dat now ya hear. I love it down here. Couldn't live any where else for long. Wake up in the mornin just get in the boat and go. Kinda feel bad for my truck just sittin there in the salt air waiting for me to used to pull my boat back home.

I was born in VA and grew up in FLA so I know how y'all talk, lol. My wife is a Wyomingite and she had a hard time understanding my cousins when I took her East. I have been here for many years and do miss the water at times, right now we have solid white water (snow and ice) outside, hard to drive a boat on it, but it is fun for the F150 and ATV.

I've had the opposite experience with mine. I've got an 09 5.4L SCrew running 275/70/18's. Went from mid 15's to mid 13's when using the economy tune. I haven't tried level 3 yet because I don't want to purchase 91 octane gas. I'm now considering sending my Evo CS away to get it 'Gryphonized'. I'm looking for some more feedback from people who have done this.

If you do purchase an Evo CS or CTS get it from THMotorsports.com. You'll save like $90 with the last price I saw posted. That's where I got mine.

Installed on my 2006 4x4 with the 5.4 and 135k miles. Zero change in MPG but the change in the transmission shift points is well worth the money.

Said screw mileage and my truck is presently in the shop getting about 3" of lift, 35" tires and 4.56 gears.

Edge is worth it for the better acceleration, improved shifting, better all around performance, extra gauges, the ability to read codes and correct your speedo for different size tires but if you buy it for the almost un-measurable boost in mileage you will be very disappointed.

I'd be willing to bet that the mileage gains from the Edge are 20% tunes and 80% driver awareness. That said, I did the math on the savings in fuel cost and expect the unit to pay for itself in just over a year. Even if that's mostly due to new throttle habits, and even if it's really 2 years, it was well worth the investment.

Oh yeah, and the extra gauges are cool, too. Don't know why I'd want to display fuel rail pressure, but I CAN!
