here you go man...looks like you can get a drop in K&N air breather for around 48 bucks at autozone.. or like 45 for an airraid .,,or a spector for like 23...then do the gotts mod... and you will get as just as much as the intake in my opinion .. but i looked up a few on ebay for you

Better air flow usually means more dirt in your engine. With the Gotts mod, for $15 you can have 'better' air flow and keep the OEM filter.

Most aftermarket filters do not filter as well the OEM filter; how else would they allow more air to flow.

well i have had a K&N drop in filter in my 02 since about 40 miles.........till about 80000miles...from 80000miles to 140000miles its got a cold air intake... never had one problem with oil being dirty and i run the oil in that to between 10000 to 16000 miles on every oil change... i keep the air filters very maintained

improvements for performance and possible gas mileage gains (if you can keep your foot off of the pedal). If your plans are to eventually do all three, then there is no order that needs to be followed to purchase these items. Go with any one of the three first, as budget allows.
