I concur with 2008__XL. The seam matches pretty closely in the center and off at the ends, it gaps a little. I think it can be mitigated if you don't tighten the bolts on the brackets until after you have tightened all the sheet metal screws under the lip of the hood. Then finally crank down the brackets. The brackets have a bit more adjustability and if you tighten them first, it could be putting pressure on the ends of the grill in a way that increases a gap at the seam.

I agree. I didn't think the gap was bad enough to mess with it though. For the price, it looks great.

I've had mine on for 4 months. So far no chips or any other issues.

Heres my current grille. Sad state of affairs if i do say so myself. I might just try plasti dipping it.
