I thought it was my tires at first so I had them balanced. They told me they were fine but my tires were worn funny. So I went out and bought new wheels and tires. Still nothing, good excuse for the wife anyway . New shocks, same thing. Then I found that TSB and did more research on the topic

sounds like 500$ for some extra weight in the bed I wonder if I put some weight in the bed if that would help

I'll deal with the shake for that price. You would be lucky to find one in the junkyard because they seem to be not so common from what I've heard/seen.
Lol that's funny. I'm in a vibrations and controls class, and the prof worked on the Mitz Lancer. They had a vibration at 60 mph from the trans. Only way they could stop it was a 20 lb weight at some random spot on the frame. They paid these guys the big bucks to come up with that.

I laughed, but as it turns out, American companies do the same thing

Mine was shaking the other day doing between 45-55 on smooth road. Did it for a few miles and then parked at work, left in the evening and it wasn't there. I am in need of new tires (will be getting them within the next week), but with it not being an all the time thing I don't think it's my tires.

Positioned behind the driver side rear tire on top of the rail.

$500!!! I would weld or bolt some weights were this damper goes before I blew $500 on a rubber weight... It looks like it could weigh 3 to 5 lbs..
. I don't have the bed shake on my 04, but maybe I have the pricey weight... I will check it out when I get home.

Just a guess but like mentioned above probably the 3 to 5 lbs range. It's also mounted with two bolts that go through rubber mounts in the weight allowing it to wobble/flex side to side.

So its a damper not a weight... You would have to buy the part for the desired result if that's the case.
