Alright, I've noticed a ticking sound in drive throughs and when window is down and I lightly step on the gas to creep upto a window and or slow start..

I bought this truck two months ago. I'm currently saving up for all OEM phasers/timing chain complete kit VCT solenoids. as I don't want to have any future issues. I do not have the "cam phaser knocking" issue but I do have this annoying tick

I'm trying to figure out if it's

A: manifold

B: Loose spark plugs/bad coil pack (accel coils and 1 piece plugs )

C: Cam phasers?

D: "NOISY INJECTORS"

here is a video that i've watched and it sounds pretty similar expect I dont have the diesel ish sound i think mine does it hot or cold and at idle/creeping in tunnels/drive throughs were it can echo

Here is my sound clip I took it sounds like a diesel on the voice recording but it's not that bad.. nor i dont have a phaser knocking noise.. this is under passenger side tire area not sure how to upload audio it sounds like **** here V

Your video is private and I can't see it on my end. The first video you posted though is definitely cam phasers. Injectors aren't quite that loud, although they are known for being noisy on this engine. If you can get the video working will help out to listen to it. A few of them have been known to be caused by loose spark plugs. Wouldn't hurt to pull the coils out and inspect the boots as well as check each plug to make sure they are tight.

Try the spark plugs. No money involved there, just time. Plugs were changed 4 months prior to me purchasing my truck. Had a slight almost unnoticeable tick when I bought it, but it ran like a top. Fast forward 2 years (after a cam follower locked up and costed me a camshaft) Spent all this money on a phasers/timing/cams and the tick was continually getting worse. After some research, I discovered the plugs in the 3V have to be torqued or will cause problems down the road (crazy as it sounds, I'd never in my life thought of putting a torque wrench on spark plugs)... Well, found my problem. #8 on mine had started to back out as well as there were a few more that turned a small amount before the torque wrench popped. I believe Ford recommends 25-27 ft lbs. It's sounding like your tick doesn't change in sound, just speed with the rpms which is also why I suggest starting with the spark plugs.
