Go with the auto spring 2.5.. The offset on these spacers is by far the best at keeping the coil spring away from the control arm at full droop and bumps..
Toss some 35" tires on, they should clear no problem, especially with the right offset wheel... Remove the running boards and your truck will "appear" to be lifted.. If you want a touch more rake (lift) in the back, swap the rear block out for a bigger 3" block..

Is your truck 2WD or 4WD? That will make a difference as far as the cv shafts, but the steering components will still take a beating. Like stated above, if you plan on more than 2.5 go with either a coilover/block lift or a full 4"+ suspension lift. They are more expensive, but much easier on the truck itself. If you're trying to break parts on your truck as fast as you can, then do what you want. I'm not saying you're going to get into a wreck like Final Destination or anything, but a "leveling kit" above 2.5 isn't really good for the trucks.

If you really want more than a very slight lift from a 2.5" or 3" level with rear blocks, leafs, shackles, etc.. take this piece of advice, save your money and put it towards a 4" suspension lift. Even at that, some manufacturers offer a 6" lift for just $100 more than a 4". Just remember, the higher you go, the bigger the tires to offset the gap created.
Here is mine with the 3" Autospring level, 1.75" lift shackles, and roughly 33" tires:
